A Trojan horse is a malware that tries to deceive computer users by pretending to be a harmless and useful computer program, for example it might deceive users to think it is a computer game, and then insidiously starts malicious activities after being installed on a computer.
Some Trojan horses carry out very harmful activities like destroying computer files or stealing passwords.
Trojan horses are unable to reproduce (unlike computer worms and viruses).
