Image stabilization is a technology used in photographic cameras to compensate for camera shakes. Camera shakes could lead to blurred pictures.
There are two kinds of Image stabilization technologies:
- Image stabilization built in camera lens. In this case internal lens elements moved actively to neutralize the effect of camera shakes.
- Image stabilization using sensor shift in digital cameras, that means sensor moves to compensate for camera shakes.
