GUI (Graphical User Interface) provides a virtual and graphical environment containing graphical components simulating real world objects, like file and trash can icons that users can interact with through an input device like mouse.

GUI provides a great convenience for novice and average computer users to do necessary computer tasks, because it provides a very easy way for interacting with a computer.
